The Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce offers a myriad of events, programs, workshops, seminars, round-table discussions with elected officials and more to benefit its members and the community. Each event or program offers businesses and industries the opportunity to take an active role in steering the direction of the event's agenda, initiatives and goals.
There are five large, annual events and sponsorship levels are available closer to the event’s date. CENTRAL LOUISIANA CHAMBER DAY AT THE LEGISLATURE
Central LA Chamber of Commerce Day at the Legislature provides members an opportunity to hear from their Governor and state legislators and weigh in on vital issues at the State Capitol. In 2016, attendees were briefed by Governor John Bell Edwards and recognized on both the House and Senate Floors. Following a full day of legislative briefings and events, the Chamber hosts a legislative reception in downtown Baton Rouge where the entire legislature is invited to attend.

CENTRAL LA BUSINESS AWARDS (“BIZZY” AWARDS)

The Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce celebrates the hard work of local businesses every day of the year. Yet on one particular night, it takes the festivities to the next level with the type of glitzy event normally staged in Hollywood. It’s the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, also known as the “Bizzy Awards”, a gala that honors those Central Louisiana companies that have excelled and become pillars of the community. Around 400 people typically attend this annual event which includes a red carpet, a sit-down dinner, an award ceremony and a champagne winners' circle.

WOMEN IN BUSINESS CONFERENCE
September 14 & 15, 2017
The Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce annual Women in Business Conference is a one and a half-day conference featuring breakout sessions with seminar topics ranging from professional development, resources for small businesses, leadership, and health and wellness. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for central Louisiana women to network, learn and empower one another.

BUSINESS EXPO & LUNCHEON
The Annual Chamber of Commerce Member Business Expo allows the rare opportunity to visit with several businesses at the same time all at the same place. In our fast paced world where else can you learn about so many local businesses? With more than 60 exhibit booths and hundreds of attendees, the Business Expo is a must-see in exploring the latest and greatest in the Cenla marketplace.
The expo is free to the public and offers visitors a one-stop-shop for information.

The Annual Meeting and Luncheon celebrates the year-ending accomplishments of the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce. This event is a luncheon held during the first week of December and features a guest speaker. Each year the Chamber President selects the speaker and the topic.
