Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, Nov 29, 2006 -- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana is having an open house celebration for the grand opening of their new location at 4508 Coliseum Blvd, Suite A in Alexandria.  The event will take place on Friday December 1, with the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce performing a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1:30pm. 

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana moved to a better location to better serve their customers.  The Alexandria Office opened in 1938 as the Hospital Service Association of Alexandria.  With corporate headquarters in Baton Rouge, they have eight regional offices throughout the State and 1,400 employees to provide employee and individual/family benefits ranging from health insurance to life insurance.
