Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, Alexandria, Louisiana, January 4, 2012 -- The Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association (LOGA) to present the 2012 LOGA State of the Industry Conference in Alexandria. The event will take on Thursday, February 2nd @ 11:00am, at the Best Western Conference Center located at 2720 North MacArthur Drive.

The meeting will feature a keynote address from Don Briggs, President of LOGA. Topics being discussed include:

• The status of Louisiana's legal environment with a particular focus on Legacy lawsuits
• The state of shale gas exploration & development, including the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and "Brown Dense" formation
• EPA and its efforts to regulate hydraulic fracturing
• The stats of U.S. offshore drilling
• A preview of the upcoming legislative session

A question and answer session will follow the presentation. There will be plenty of time before and after for networking with oil & gas business professionals. Tables of eight, along with individual seating is available.
